John,
No plans for the National. I'm not sure the bike's up to it and I'm not a real big So Cal fan anyway. A Bay Area Guzzi ride would be great. Let's give it some thought. Have a safe ride!

Hello John,
Thanks for the comment. The bike's coming along. I've just finished upgrading the switch gear and de-linking the brakes. Also replaced the clip-ons (one was bent) with an adjustable set so they're slightly higher. It's so much easier to ride now. Next step is to have someone take a good look at the engine and give me a feel for its general condition. Seems to run OK but it's my first Guzzi and I have no comparison. BTW there was a really nice red Le Mans I parked near my bike at the Legends of the Motorcycle show. It had the key in the ignition and I hope it was still there when the owner came back! I was thinking of going up to the breakfast in Woodland on Sunday but it's just too damned hot for a long freeway slog. Hopefully next month. Looking forward to meeting you at some point.
Take care!

What's up chief? Hope that all is well. We should try and get Gherardini to crawl out of his dark hole every once in a while and grab a beer.
